More About Our Daycare

At Happy Hearts, our 3-5 year olds are very busy. We find that our “littles” need to have a routine or schedule so that each child knows and understands what we will be doing next. With a philosophy of a play-based centre, we believe that there is so much to learn from play-based activities which can help with children’s cognitive, affective, and physical development.

Our Early Childhood Educators plan their curriculum based on this philosophy and the importance of child development. Along with curriculum at our centre, the teachers plan field trips within the community. As all children walk together, they make trips to the local library, open gym, and local parks. We send a newsletter and calendar home every month so parents are able to see what is happening.

Our teachers use the himama app daily to share pictures and send centre communications.
